Class Teacher - KS2

As our KS2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our pupils into confident, curious, compassionate young people. You will deliver engaging lessons that spark imagination, stretch thinking, and nurture each child's unique strengths.

About the Position

Your responsibilities will include:



Delivering high-quality, inspiring lessons that enable every pupil to flourish academically and personally. Preparing engaging lesson plans and learning materials that support progress for all learners. Creating a vibrant, nurturing classroom environment where children feel confident to explore, question, and take risks. Observing and responding to individual pupil needs, adapting teaching to support a wide range of abilities. Demonstrating consistent commitment to safeguarding, including ongoing training and vigilant awareness of child protection guidance. Contributing to curriculum development, ensuring teaching reflects best practice and the needs of the school. Using assessment effectively to track progress, identify next steps, and inform teaching.

We are looking for someone who has:



QTS

(essential). A passion for inspiring KS2 pupils and supporting their academic and personal growth. Experience designing and delivering creative, motivating schemes of work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development. Experience preparing pupils for senior school entrance or 11+ assessments (advantageous).
