About the Role

We're West Coast Martial Arts -- a long-established, community-first martial arts club in Preston.

We're looking for a part-time coach to grow into a lead instructor position, working mostly with children aged 4-12 and a few adult sessions too.

This role is ready-made for the right person.

You'll:

Coach kids' kickboxing and Junior Krav Maga (training provided) Run high-energy pad work sessions Help students sweat, smile, and grow in skill and confidence
What We're Looking For

Brown belt or higher in kickboxing, Muay Thai, Karate, or similar Some coaching experience -- or confidence leading a class Reliable, positive, and calm under pressure Able to communicate with kids, adults, and parents Comfortable working Thursday evenings & Saturday mornings
This isn't a role for hobbyists or people just out of school.
We need someone with some life experience, presence, and a growth mindset.

What You'll Get

15-25/hour depending on experience Free in-house training (Krav Maga, coaching, class leadership) Mentoring from an experienced senior coach A clear path to a bigger role -- or just steady hours in a great club Opportunities for workshops, private sessions, and additional classes
Weekly Hours

Thursday evenings Saturday mornings 8-10 hours/week Option to increase hours over time, if that fits in with your lifestyle!
