We're seeking someone with experience working with children who brings energy, creativity, and flexibility to the table. Whether you're sport-focused, artistic, or love sparking curiosity through tech and building, we'd love to hear from you.
All lesson plans and resources are provided
to help you deliver structured, high-quality sessions with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead fun, structured sessions across:
Sports & physical activities
Arts & crafts projects
Technology/STEM sessions (e.g. coding, building, creative challenges)
Deliver activities during after-school clubs, holiday camps, and community programs.
Build strong working relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all participants.
Ensure safety and manage equipment before, during, and after sessions.
Support event planning and assist in coordinating larger activities.
Communicate regularly with leadership to report progress and help meet goals.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of
1 year's experience working with children
, preferably in a sports, education, or coaching setting.
Hold a recognised qualification in
sports coaching
,
childcare
,
youth work
,
art
, or
education
(e.g. Level 1/2 coaching award or equivalent).
Valid
driver's licence
and
access to transport
(role is based at Lisburn HQ but may involve occasional travel).
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Confident managing and motivating small groups of children.
Proactive, reliable, and professional with a strong team mindset.
Recent
Enhanced Access NI check
or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable:
Experience working with children aged 4-11.
Multi-skill coaching background or experience delivering creative or tech/STEM activities.
Ability to adapt lesson delivery across different ages and abilities.
