Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kids Club Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children while their parents enjoy our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess strong management and leadership skills to ensure a positive experience for both children and their families.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the Kids Club area. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's activities and behaviour. Maintain accurate records of attendance and incidents as required. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to childcare. Provide support in managing any behavioural issues that may arise. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and childcare.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting or nursery is essential. Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential. A background in early childhood education is essential. Strong management and leadership skills to guide staff and engage with children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare, with the ability to connect with children of various ages. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
