Join BEAM ACADEMY as We Grow in Oxford: Freelance Children's Yoga Instructor

BEAM ACADEMY, a vibrant and growing children's yoga and mindfulness company, is excited to expand into a new area of Oxford--and we're looking for someone special to join us on this journey!

This is a unique opportunity to be part of building something from the ground up. While we don't have guaranteed classes just yet, we're looking for a patient, proactive, and positive instructor who's ready to help us grow. We'll work closely with you to find classes in your local area, building a schedule that suits both you and the community.

This position is ideal for a freelance adult yoga instructor aiming to expand their teaching schedule, develop new skills, and broaden their repertoire

About the Role

As a BEAM ACADEMY instructor, you'll teach yoga and mindfulness to children and teens in nurseries, schools, and children's centres. Sessions are designed to fit around the school day, usually between

9am-11:30am

and

1pm-4:30pm

.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a flexible, evolving environment and wants to be part of bringing yoga and mindfulness to children in Oxford.

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

Fun, positive, and engaging with children Patient and adaptable, with a "can-do" attitude Excited to help grow and develop classes in the local area Available at least 2 mornings (9am-11:30am) and 2 afternoons (1pm-4:30pm) per week (Bonus) Has an enhanced DBS check - but we can help you get one if you don't!

Key Responsibilities:

Lead yoga and mindfulness classes for children and teens Create a safe, supportive, and positive class environment Complete our 4-day Children's Yoga Teacher Training & 2-day Early Years Yoga Teacher Training (provided by BEAM ACADEMY) Obtain valid insurance (we'll guide you through this process) Stay up to date with first aid, safeguarding, and enhanced DBS checks

What You Need:

No formal yoga teaching qualifications--

we'll provide full training!

A personal yoga practice A willingness to grow with us as we build classes in Oxford Maintain a portable speaker and MP3 player for classes Availability on weekday mornings and afternoons
