Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interpreter who can speak Kinyarwanda language. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural contexts, ensuring accurate and effective interpretation in various settings. This role is crucial in bridging communication gaps and fostering understanding in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate interpretation services in both spoken and signed languages during meetings, conferences, and other events. Translate written documents as required, ensuring clarity and fidelity to the original text. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times while handling sensitive information. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor interpretation services accordingly. Stay updated on industry terminology and cultural nuances to enhance the quality of interpretation. Assist in preparing materials for meetings or events that require interpretation services.

Skills

Proficiency in Kinyarwanda language, with a strong command of both verbal and written forms. Excellent listening skills with the ability to accurately convey messages without distortion. Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Cultural awareness and sensitivity to different customs and practices. Previous experience in interpretation or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
