Job Overview



Panku Toryglen are seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy sushi and street-food kiosk situated in Asda Toryglen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and a background in food service or retail environments to advance their career within a dynamic team.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning routines. Oversee food safety compliance and ensure all health regulations are adhered to consistently. Assist in the training and development of team members to uphold service standards. Manage daily operations, including inventory control, order placement, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas. Ability to manage full kiosk operations in absence of Manager. Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Collaborate with management to implement policies that improve efficiency and service quality. Support staff during busy periods, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery of services.

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. Experience in food production and kitchen operations, including culinary skills such as cooking and food presentation. Experience rolling sushi is advantageous but not essential as training provided. Familiarity with restaurant and retail industry practices such as merchandising. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers. Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards. This role is ideal for proactive individuals passionate about delivering outstanding service while maintaining high standards in food quality and safety. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
