We are Panku! Specialising in freshly made, delicious rice & noodle bowls, sizzling street food and hand-rolled sushi for everyone to enjoy!

Located in ASDA Superstore South Shields we are looking to hire a new team member, working 16 hours per week (split between 2-3 days), weekdays and weekends between the hours of 8am and 8pm (hours negotiable and shared fairly between all staff members). Full on-site training plus online support will be provided, no experience necessary however some knowledge of retail or kitchen service would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

As a Team Member you will be a strong team player, enthusiastic and willing to support your team and deliver top quality sushi to our customers You'll be assisting your Manager in the daily running of the kiosk, performing ad hoc duties and tasks where required You'll be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards in a fast paced environment You'll be ensuring daily records of delivery, wastage, and temperature checks are completed and recorded accurately You'll be engaging with our customers throughout the day. Your fantastic menu knowledge will encourage sales as you sample and inform them about our menu, ensuring they always leave happy with both the quality of our sushi and our customer service You will have excellent awareness of our allergens procedure and will ensure that customers are always given the correct information You will maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times following all cleaning procedures You will follow all our policies and procedures, advocating a safe working environment for all

Pay: 12.21 per hour
