You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and marinating proteins Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitising work surfaces Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment Attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation meet standards Basic cooking skills or a willingness to learn culinary techniques Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous but not essential Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week

Work Location: In person
