Job Title: Multi-trade Operative - Kitchen and Bathroom




Job Location: Birmingham - Field Based




Salary - 35,500 pa (+ Company Van and Fuel Card) per annum




Contract type - Permanent




Working hours - Full Time 39 Hours per week




We are recruiting for a full time Multi Trade Kitchen and Bathroom fitter to join our trades team on a permanent basis who has a core trade in carpentry and plumbing with a desire to join our team of talented staff.


Can you?...




Install kitchen units, worktops, sinks, and associated fittings in domestic properties.

Carry out removal of old kitchens and preparation works, including minor carpentry, plaster patching, and basic plumbing.

Fit appliances and fixtures, ensuring correct alignment and secure fitting.

Have a good understanding of safe working practices and knowledge of working to Risk Assessments, Method statements and COSHH assessments.

Deal with customers in occupied properties.

Remove and refit bathroom plumbing fixtures (bath, basin, toilets)

Experienced in completing full bathroom renovations including tiling.

Fitting kitchen units, worktops, cupboards and bathroom cabinetry

You must have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines and be able to effectively use hand-held electronic devices. A work tablet will be provided and plays a vital part of the role


Do you have...




Have a Full UK Driver`s License - a work van and fuel card provided


Experience in building maintenance with a core trade in carpentry / plumbing.


NVQ Level 2 desirable


Previous experience of working within the social housing sector would be beneficial


Ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.


A positive can-do attitude
