We are looking for a Gas Safe Installer to join our Installation Team! Your role will be to provide an industry leading supply and installation service to the construction industry, fitting on a range of kitchen appliances. DBD provide a professional service at all times, ensuring work carried out is of a high standard with customer satisfaction at the forefront.

Who are we looking for?

Experience of white goods installations, both integrated and free standing. Good level of understanding with electrical wiring for kitchen appliances (training will be given). Displays good time management skills and is practically minded with a methodical and organised approach to work. Diplomatic with the ability to communicate with people at all levels in a calm manner, sometimes under difficult circumstances. Display good personal appearance & be physically fit. Possess good geographical knowledge and a full driving license (3 points max) Full of initiative and self-motivated with a confident and positive attitude. Literate with a good knowledge of English, both verbal and written. CSCS card (desirable but not essential). CCN1 and CKR1 qualifications (essential). Has a good understanding of the importance of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Daily communication with co-ordination, warehouse staff, assistants and other installers to ensure all equipment and personnel are available and timings are in place to achieve an efficient day. Check all appliances and equipment are correct and safely loaded onto the van prior to leaving DBD RDC. Driving to and from sites in a fuel-efficient manner, with support from Assistant where possible. Completes and records all DBD required electrical and gas tests to ensure installation is fully compliant. Carry out pre-installation checks on plots to ensure everything is prepared for install including live services and kitchens completed. Communicating any issues with Site Managers and staff in order to resolve and achieve a first time fit. Monitors and maintains vehicle consumables stock levels. Carry out all duties in a professional and friendly manner at all times. Install appliances and carry out any necessary works to the highest possible quality. Training and supervising assistant to ensure high quality and productivity is maintained. Ensure plots are left in a clean, neat and tidy condition prior to leaving site. To ensure all work is completed to the Site Managers satisfaction, digital and physical paperwork is completed, signed and returned in agreed timescales.

Pay: 28,000.00-41,000.00 per year
