We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, maintain cleanliness, and support our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities

Assist chefs and cooks in meal preparation and cooking tasks. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces. Help with the storage and organisation of food supplies, ensuring proper labelling and rotation. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained. Support the team during busy service periods by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating. Participate in inventory management by reporting stock levels and assisting with orders as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. A keen interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills. Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
