We are looking for a part-time Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The Kitchen Assistant will perform routine kitchen duties such as
Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
Assisting chef as required
Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed.
Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
Observing cooking times and correct temperatures
Other duties as reasonably required
Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation and/or cleaning is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
