Rubislaw Park Care Home is an award-winning nursing and care facility, located in Aberdeen's West End. We provide exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 86 residents.


We are now seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. In this role, you will support the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals while helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming kitchen environment.

What We Offer



12.21 per hour Contracted to 37.5 hours per week Pension scheme Paid PVG, free uniform, and onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do



You will assist with food preparation, check and store deliveries safely, and help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all kitchen areas. Following food safety and health and safety practices, you will ensure equipment, appliances, and work surfaces are kept sanitised and well-organised. Working closely with the wider kitchen team, you will contribute to a smooth-running and professional environment.

About You



Organised, reliable, and a great team player Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling Good attention to detail and cleanliness Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential - training will be provided
