We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in meal and food preparation, ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities



Assist with meal preparation and food presentation under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Support catering events by preparing ingredients and setting up serving areas Help with cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to meet food safety standards Organise ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods Serve food to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment Support the team with general kitchen duties such as washing, peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients

Skills



Prior experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail when handling food preparation and hygiene tasks Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude when serving customers or guests Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately Basic understanding of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship, Freelance, Graduate

Pay: 12.21-17.68 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
