St Stephen's Junior School is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our After School Club team.
The post holder will work in in our school kitchen and be responsible for the preparation and delivery of an afternoon snack to all our children. This includes both hot and cold food for an average of 70 children every day. We have strict hygiene requirements and health and safety protocols within the kitchen environment and the successful candidate should either have a current Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or have some experience in food handling, food safety and good hygiene practice. An up to date training course in Food Hygiene and allergens would be required before starting work.
The hours are 2 hours per day during school term time only. (10 hours per week 2.30pm - 4.30pm) The hourly rate is 12.71 and salary is averaged out over a year and paid monthly.
