Woodchurch House, a 78 bedded nursing Home, which cares for those living with dementia and those with nursing needs, is seeking to recruit a kitchen assistant to work within the Home.

General responsibilities of the position include:
1. Work within the guidelines from the "Safer Food Better Business" workbook
2. Observance of Health & Safety requirements
3. Carry out duties as instructed by catering manager
Day to Day Duties
1. Open up kitchen
2. Check on equipment and record relevant information such as fridge temperatures
3. Check temperature of heated trolley prior to food being transferred ready for transport
4. Assist with preparations of meals and transfer of trolley
5. Assist with clearing up and cleaning after each meal
6. Assist with daily/weekly cleaning schedule
7. Assist with checking in of stock
8. Ensure correct rotation of foodstuffs
9. Ensure correct labelling
10. Complete kitchen closing checks
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
