We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in food preparation, assisting with catering services, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Duties
Assist with meal preparation and food presentation under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen work areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
Help with food safety practices, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, peeling, and measuring
Restock supplies and ensure all kitchen tools are properly maintained and stored
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Willingness to learn new techniques and develop culinary expertise
