Term Time plus 1 week in the holidays. 20 Hours per week.

Full time equivalent 23,569.00 per annum, actual salary 10,094.00 per annum.

The Role:

An opportunity has arisen within our well-established Catering Department to join as Kitchen Assistant. The successful candidate must be driven, focused and have the ability to work in a timely manner to support the kitchen team by providing a clean and safe working environment.

You will ensure that the kitchen, service areas and equipment are kept clean and maintain a hygienic, safe and pleasant environment for staff and students.

The main responsibilities for this role include ensuring a high quality of dish washing and cleaning to support the team within the kitchen. You must therefore be comfortable working in this type of environment. Food preparation may also be required from time to time.

Communicate effectively to demonstrate a collaborative approach to achieving common goals. Demonstrate some knowledge on food hygiene and safety. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire colleagues.
