We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and basic dishes under supervision Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times Help with serving food to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner Restock supplies and organise storage areas to ensure efficient workflow Support the catering team during events or busy service periods as required Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food preparation is desirable but not essential Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen safety procedures Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards team members and customers Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse responsibilities within the kitchen environment
