Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with safety and quality standards Support the kitchen team with food safety practices and hygiene protocols Prepare ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Help with the organisation of stock and ingredients to ensure efficient workflow Serve food to customers or staff as required, ensuring presentation standards are met Follow all health and safety regulations diligently during daily operations Support catering events by setting up and clearing away after service

Skills

Experience or interest in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic culinary skills Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Previous experience in meal preparation or kitchen assistance is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
