We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support the catering team during events and daily service periods Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies following food safety regulations Help with inventory management by organising stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies Serve food to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner when required Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Skills

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene standards Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service Willingness to learn new culinary skills and adapt to different tasks within the kitchen setting
