Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of chefs Support food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards Help with serving meals during busy service periods Participate in catering events, ensuring high-quality food presentation and service Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Experience in catering or restaurant settings is advantageous A background in culinary arts or related fields is a plus Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
