We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and exceptional service. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support the catering team in preparing ingredients and organising kitchen stations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces Help with serving food to customers or guests as required Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating stock items to minimise waste Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Basic knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and kitchen operations Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary
