About the Role:

The Wheatsheaf is on the lookout for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team. You'll support the kitchen with essential tasks that keep service running smoothly, in a venue known for fresh food and warm hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

o? ?Assist in the preparation of ingredients and plating of dishes

o? ?Prepare and serve desserts to a high standard

o? ?Wash and clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

o? ?Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including floors, surfaces, and bins

o? ?Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations

o? ?Support chefs with basic food prep as required

o? ?Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

o? ?Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure

o? ?Previous kitchen experience is a bonus but not essential - full training provided
