Who we are:

La Scala, an independent Italian venue right on Henleaze Highstreet. Known for our "Deli-Coffee-Wine" approach. We serve Italian coffee, Pastries, Fresh pasta, as well as holding a selection of Italian products on our shelves, and we host Wine tastings on a weekly basis.

We've recently extended our lunch offering and are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team. Our menu is a limited, one page, selection of Fresh pasta, as well as some Italian small plates. Your job will span from the assembling of our dishes, to food preparation.

We also require all employees to be fully familiar & experienced Barista's as there'll be a mix of shifts in any given week , (Subject to agreed hours)

Hours: (Minimum)20hrs p/week - 30hrs p/week

:

Kitchen assistant /Barista:

- Following recipes & catering to our one-page menu

- Food preparation

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing utensils, pots, and pans.

- Coffee making

- Maintain Italian, Warm, Hospitable customer service

- Follow handbook (cleaning schedule, H&S, stock taking etc)

Req's

- Barista trained & competent in coffee making

- Competent in slicing, dicing & general food preparation

- Basic kitchen experience
