To ensure that the service provision of the charity is conducted in a manner which furthers the aims of Me, Myself & I Neath Port Talbot, delivering on a person-centred care approach for people living with dementia to access a daybreak provision.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Keep a safe and comfortable environment for guests, volunteers, and staff. Ensure spaces are kept clean, sanitised, and free from any health & safety hazards
To be responsible for own continuous professional development and ongoing learning.
Assisting the chef in the planning, preparation, cooking, and service of varied, interesting, and healthy menus.
Kitchen porter / pot washing
Deputise for the other catering staff in their absence.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness within the kitchen areas are adhered to.
Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures.
Other
Cleaning the kitchen after cooking each meal and ensuring the prep area and kitchen is cleaned and sanitized at the end of shift
Rotating stock items as established procedures
Cover holidays and sickness
Being a role model for volunteers and staff
Health & Safety
Report any Hazards, Incidents or Accidents to the correct member of staff
Raise any Safeguarding concerns to your Team Leader as soon as possible
