We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food presentation under the supervision of the head chef or kitchen manager Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen area Prepare ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning, to facilitate efficient cooking processes Help with basic cooking tasks as directed, ensuring timely delivery of meals Organise and restock kitchen supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth workflow during service periods Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and professional manner when required Maintain a clean work environment by washing utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment after use Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Experience

Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food preparation is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous Experience with meal preparation, cooking, or general kitchen duties will be considered an asset Familiarity with serving food in a busy environment is beneficial but not mandatory
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
