We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistants to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in meal preparation, food safety, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their culinary skills within a professional setting.

Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support catering services for events and functions, ensuring timely delivery of meals Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment Serve food to guests or customers as required, maintaining courteous and professional conduct Support the cooking team during busy periods by preparing ingredients or assisting with basic cooking tasks

Skills

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal assembly processes Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good organisational skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and guests Willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field
