We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a bustling restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and support the kitchen staff in serving All day breakfasts, sandwiches, jacket potatoes ect and other cafe menu items.
Responsibilities
Aid in food preparation tasks under the guidance of the kitchen team
Assist with catering orders and meal preparation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
Support the chefs and cooks during service hours
Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
Skills
Experience in food preparation or a culinary environment is advantageous
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Enthusiasm for learning and helping in various kitchen tasks
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: 12.30 per hour
