Assist with meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the head chef or cook.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, ensuring all utensils and equipment are washed and stored properly.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained at all times.
Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service.
Support the cooking staff during busy periods by providing assistance as needed
Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
