Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of ingredients for cooking and meal assembly Support chefs in cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, including proper storage and handling of food items Help with serving meals during busy periods, ensuring customer satisfaction Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in catering or restaurants Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques Understanding of food safety regulations and practices Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn new culinary skills and techniques A passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality service

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
