We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. The successful candidate will assist with meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs with the ability to prepare basic meals to cover the Chefs absences Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times Help with cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces Organise ingredients and supplies to facilitate efficient workflow during busy periods Serve food to customers or staff as required, maintaining excellent customer service standards Support stock management by checking inventory levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or expiry dates Contribute to maintaining a tidy, safe, and organised kitchen environment at all times

Experience

Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food preparation is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Familiarity with kitchen safety procedures and food hygiene standards is essential Experience in meal preparation, cooking, or culinary roles will be considered a strong asset Knowledge of food safety regulations and serving protocols will benefit applicants seeking to excel in this position
