Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly, ensuring dishes meet quality standards Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and basic culinary tasks Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Help with serving meals to customers or guests in a professional manner Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with catering events and special functions as required Support the team in maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace

Skills

Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or kitchen environments is desirable Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under supervision in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers Basic understanding of food presentation and serving etiquette
