Position Overview:



Play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a commercial kitchen'

Renumeration

: The on target earnings for this role are 9.05 - 13.71 phr (comprising a base of 7.55 - 12.21phr plus a qualified 1.50 phr in gratuities and service charge).

Young workers (15, 16 or 17)



Will not be asked to work more than 8 hours a day, will receive a 30-minute break if their working day is longer than 4.5 hours and may have to work past 10pm, but will have fished by midnight.

Responsibilities:



Cleaning and Sanitizing: Ensuring all kitchen areas, including countertops, stoves, ovens, sinks, and floors, are clean and sanitized. Dishwashing: Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, either manually or using a dishwasher2. Inventory Management: Receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and ensuring food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators are well-maintained. Waste Disposal: Emptying trash containers and disposing of waste properly. Basic Food Preparation: Assisting chefs with tasks like peeling, cutting, and washing ingredients. Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring cooking equipment is clean and in working order

Requirements:



Adaptability and Willingness to Learn. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards during busy periods. Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
