Kitchen Assistant
Job Description
Job Purpose:
Cooking experience will be an advantage or candidate must be willing to learn how to cook.
To cook breakfast items as required by the residents.
To ensure that the dining area is clean at all times.
To assist the chef in serving up meals.
To prep vegetables as required.
To ensure that all kitchen equipment and kitchen areas are cleaned according to cleaning schedules.
To ensure that company Health & Safety Regulations are adhered to.
To ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable goods.
To ensure the correct, safe storage of cleaning materials.
To ensure that all pots, pans, cooking utensils are cleaned to the required standards and correctly stored after cleaning.
Carry out any other reasonable instructions given by The Chef/Home Manager
You will also be required to stand in for the Head Cook / Part Time Cook when they are on leave
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.25 per hour
Work Location: In person
