About The Role

This role is on a casual basis.
Lakeview Nursing Home caters for up to 40 people across 2 units; general nursing and EMI. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious meals in a safe and well-maintained environment.
You will assist the cook in preparing food, supporting meal service, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen. This includes washing up, tidying workspaces, and ensuring food preparation areas meet hygiene standards. Additionally, you will help to put away deliveries and ensure stock is organized efficiently. The role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a commitment to creating a comfortable, clean, and welcoming space for both residents and colleagues.
