Kitchen Assistant to become an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth and clean operation of our culinary operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to start or continue building a career in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Food Preparation: Assist in the basic cooking of raw ingredients, including chopping, slicing and blanching of vegetables and meats.
- Follow Safety Guidelines: Adhere to all food safety and health and safety protocols such as COSHH and HACCP regulations as well as infection control guidelines.
- Support Hygienic Operations: Assist in keeping food service and preparation areas clean and hygienic to the highest standards.
- Flexibility in Tasks: Assist with various other tasks as required by the kitchen team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in a similar role(
2 YEARS or above REQUIRED
).
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above(
REQUIRED
).
- Knowledge of COSHH Legislation and health and safety in a kitchen environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and effective teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on various tasks as required.
