We are looking for a hardworking and reliable kitchen assistant to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly by assisting the chef and maintaining cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
Assisting chefs with food preparation and service.
Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment.
Keeping work surfaces, floors, and kitchen areas clean and hygienic.
Disposing of waste correctly and ensuring recycling policies are followed.
Unloading and storing deliveries in the correct manner.
Following company processes to meet health and safety standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong willingness to learn and help out where needed.
Basic culinary knowledge is desirable but not essential.
Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Basic pay for this position is at national minimum wage. Plus a share of all tips and service charge (usually extra 3-5 per hour)
