We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. Duties
Assist with meal preparation and food presentation under the supervision of head chefs or kitchen managers
Support with food safety procedures, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, assembling salads, and portioning ingredients for cooking
Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with hygiene standards
Assist with serving food to customers or guests as required
Help with organising supplies and restocking ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Follow health and safety regulations diligently at all times
Skills
Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or culinary environments is advantageous
Basic cooking and food preparation skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent team player with strong communication abilities
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different tasks within the kitchen setting
