Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in preparing and serving high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for food safety standards. Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food presentation to ensure timely service Support chefs with food safety and hygiene practices in line with industry standards Help with the organisation and replenishment of ingredients and supplies. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts, including washing up, loading of dishwasher and cleaning at the end of the shift. Follow all health and safety regulations diligently during food handling and preparation Support the team during busy periods by performing various kitchen tasks as directed

Experience

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols is advantageous Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety standards, and serving procedures will be beneficial Experience working in a fast-paced environment demonstrates strong organisational skills and adaptability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
