Kitchen Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a person to work from 9 am to 2.30 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in our happy, friendly nursery. The role involves preparing snack, morning and afternoon, serving up hot lunches (brought in from Breadwinners), clearing away and using the dishwasher after each clear up, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times. We follow the 'Cook Safe' scheme of food preparation. Experience is desirable but not essential though it is important to be a person who cooks. We need someone who is efficient, systematic, reliable and can work on their own. An initial induction period will be arranged with the other kitchen assistant, who will show how the 'Cook Safe ' scheme operates and all other aspects of the role.
