Location: Martham

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our residential care home in Martham. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with food preparation. Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. Assisting with the plating and presentation of meals to residents, adhering to portion control guidelines. Serving meals and beverages to residents in a courteous and efficient manner. Assisting in stock management and inventory control. Following all food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to residents. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work shifts, including every other weekend.
