Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food safety procedures to ensure high standards are maintained Support chefs and kitchen staff with ingredient organisation and stock replenishment Prepare ingredients by chopping, peeling, and portioning as required for various dishes Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with hygiene standards Serve food to customers or staff in a professional and courteous manner Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment Assist with general kitchen duties such as washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal Support the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operation

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Basic culinary skills including meal preparation and food handling Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different tasks within the kitchen environment Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
