We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to support the kitchen staff in delivering exceptional service to our residents. Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards.
Support chefs with cooking tasks, including chopping and mixing,
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly after use.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and customer satisfaction.
Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with food safety practices and hygiene standards.
Experience in meal preparation and food preparation techniques.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
Good communication skills, enabling effective teamwork within the kitchen.
