To soak, prewash and wash all food and beverage operating equipment to the required standard.
To distribute all clean equipment to assigned shelving.
To keep dishwashing machine and area clean, tidy and hygienic at all times.
To clean and mop the kitchen floor as and when required.
To change rubbish bags and to ensure rubbish is disposed of in the appropriate manner.
To clean any food and beverage areas and back of house areas to the required standard.
To be responsible for the correct use of detergents and other chemicals.
To know the correct function of the dishwashing machine.
To clean any assigned areas in the kitchen to the required standard.
To report any maintenance defects to the Manager
To ensure that your performance and appearance are up to the required standard.
To maintain the standards of courtesy and efficiency towards all guests, prospective clients and colleagues.
To carry out other duties within the general scope and purpose of your job so designated by the Managers & Chef's on duty.
Alongside your main duties we will give you the tools to work in all areas of the kitchen alongside our other chef and kitchen team member, repairing you to grow within your role and move up in the kitchen. This isn't just a kitchen porter job we want you to become an integral part of the kitchen to be able delivery high quality food. Please don't feel that you have to know everything there is to know about cooking we will teach you all we ask is that you are willing! SO come be part of the team and for those of you that wish to take it to another level you can arrange apprenticeships .
