We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards Support the kitchen team in food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision, including chopping, mixing, and plating Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Restock supplies and organise ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations Serve food to customers or staff as required, ensuring presentation standards are met Assist with washing dishes, pots, pans, and cleaning kitchen appliances as needed Follow all safety procedures during food handling and preparation activities

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills and attention to detail Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and kitchen operations

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
