We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by preparing garnishes, assembling dishes, and ensuring timely delivery of meals. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times to ensure the safety of both staff and customers. Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries, storing supplies appropriately, and monitoring stock levels. Participate in catering events as required, assisting with setup, serving, and breakdown of events.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred; experience in catering or restaurants is a plus. Basic culinary skills including food preparation techniques and meal assembly. Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards. A Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
