We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Duties

Assist with meal and food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients Support catering services by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards Help with inventory management by organising supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels Serve food to customers or staff as required, ensuring presentation standards are met Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards Support the team during busy service periods by performing various kitchen tasks as directed

Experience

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety practices, and general kitchen procedures is advantageous Experience in food preparation or culinary roles will be beneficial in understanding kitchen workflows and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adhering to health and safety regulations
