Job Description

This is a part-time kitchen assistant role at Walstead Place, a 41-bed residential care home in Lindfield, Haywards Heath. The role involves working flexible shift patterns, either 7-7, 7-2, or 2-7, and includes alternate weekends. The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of 12.21 and have access to a range of employee benefits.
Main duties of the job
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team in preparing and serving meals for the residents at Walstead Place. This includes tasks such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy and hygienic work environment. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, passionate about hospitality, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
